Pinecone #2 + small rant

Dearest readers,

Sorry it's been a while since I've updated on Pinecone. He's doing well, although I have noticed he's a little thin. As usual, he won't go near me but if I'm a fair distance away, he likes to sit there and observe me. Actually, right now, Pinecone is sitting outside my window. I can see him perched there like a bird. I guess he's developed this habit ever since the first time I put some treats there, trying to lure him in. He won't come in but he'll sit there and wait for me to put his favourite treats there!

I wonder what he thinks about all day...does he have a cat diary he secretly writes in when I'm not here? Do they really think of fish all day? Or is this some stupid saying humans make up? Like how humans say rodents are stupid! They're absolutely not! I should know because I've been a guinea pig owner for almost seven years. It's all down to how to treat animals.

For those who are not so bright, I'll explain. Imagine you have a dog and you leave this dog trapped in a small cage everyday. Leave it for lets say 16 hours and come back for 10 minutes to drop it some food. Then the rest of the time, talk to it like a baby. Yeah, you get the picture. The dog aint gonna be very smart when it comes out. Even if it's a german sheperd (whom are renouned for their smartness) Now my guinea pig isn't trapped in it's cage. It's free to go wherever she wants. In the mornings, she's usually out in our backyard eating grass and running to wherever she pleases but I've trained her to come back home when it gets dark. Then she roams our house and usually enters her cage when it gets dark or when she gets scared.

Now, I'll stop ranting and go onto Pinecone again. I've also noticed he has an odd fascination with leaves. Not any random leaves, it has to be leaves falling off a tree. He'll literally chase those leaves to the next street if he has to! I've seen him do it and it makes me even more curious...does he see something we don't see? Hmmm....

Oh, by the way. Since Pinecone refuses to pose for the camera, I've decided to insert a lookalike cat from the internet. All credits to the owner:

Almost an identical twin!

Until next time!
