Latte is still looking for her Romeo after four years |
She's the smartest little piggie I know! She does tricks such as standing up on two hind feet, circling when asked and she can go down stairs super fast. She also isn't afraid of roaming our gigantic garden and comes back to me when I call out "Latte!"
Up till now, I still don't know whether she's a full Himalayan guinea pig or not. She's got a chocolate brown nose but her ears and feet aren't coloured. Her ears are partially and her feet are white and pink. My mum says theres a possbility one of her parents were an albino and the other was a Himalayan. Her ears were also badly bitten when we got her as a baby. I still blame that on the pet store who put her with a bunch of naughty rabbits. I personally think they were teasing her. When I bought her, those pesky little rabbits wouldn't let her near the food bowl and I got so angry! So I had to ask my mum to get her straight away! I couldn't stand watching her being bullied anymore!
Now my little baby lives a peaceful, serene life. She did originally have a female companion called Chocolina, I named her that because her fur was dark chocolate colour and when I didn't have chocolate left in the pantry, I'd just stare at her and imagine she was dark chocolate....anyways, I got her for my birthday in 2005 but unfortunately she passed away in 2009 due to a tumor. We took her to the vet but unfortunately we discovered it too late and it would be far to risky to operate on her. At that point, we decided euthanizing her was the most painfree option. It was such a sad day watching the light leave her eyes. I couldn't stop crying that day!
Anyway, stay in tune for more Latte!
